The Wrap on Invitations | Do It Yourself | Wording Etiquette

Some invitations are wrapped with sheer or translucent paper to add a color, style, or theme that relates to the event. The wrap opens on the left and right side of the invitation. Examples of invitatons with our sheer papers are described below.

Unryu Paper -Ribbons & Leaves

Unryu paper is screenprinted pattern in gold on this sheer, cream paper. These unryu papers are mulberry based, called kozo. They are produced from the eco-friendly mulberry tree that regenerates every year after the bark is peeled.

Lavender Unryu Paper (Rice Paper)

Unryu paper from Thailand is made of long strands of kozo. It is the traditional unryu known as rice paper. Lightweight and translucent, it is available in many colors, with or without inclusions such as stems, leaves, threads, and other materials, and comes in different weights.
