Return Address - when mailing to US Addresses
A return address is important on the wedding invitation envelope so you will get it back in the event the address didn't work and lets you know that your guest did not receive it.
The return address is formally placed on the back flap of the envelope and may or may not include names. For example:
Lakeview Canyon Road
Costa Mesa, California 98765
or
The Hendersons
4 Lakeview Canyon Road
Costa Mesa, California 98765
or use a decorative symbol
v
4 Lakeview Canyon Road
Costa Mesa, California 98765
Typestyles used for the return address are normally the same as the one used on your invitation with the same color ink, however, today you may choose from many different typestyles.
Return Address - when mailing to other than US Addresses
Due to heightened security, many foreign postal administrations require complete sender and addressee information in roman letters and arabic numerals on postal items. The complete address of the sender, including ZIP Code and country of origin, should be shown in the upper left corner of the address side of the envelope, package, or card.
