When you begin planning a special occasion event such as a wedding, the guest list is one of the first considerations. A budget and event location are usually decided first and will likely be included with other factors as you determine the guest count. An approximate number of guests provides a starting point and is usually sufficient to begin planning the details.
The guest count may vary, but will need to be determined when the invitations are ordered (or in some cases earlier, if save the date cards are being sent). And, of course, you will need the GUEST LIST with names and addresses for mailing the invitation (or save the date cards).
